In his experience, the art emerges while moving forward through the process of experimentation.
Argeo Ascani is Curator for Music at EMPAC, the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He is one of few saxophonists to perform on the entire range of saxophones from sopranino to contrabass, and remains dedicated to performing new music. In 2015, he served as a Pew Fellowships panelist.
