To ensure the organization's future vitality, Opera Philadelphia conducted in-depth, strategic audience research that has resulted in a new, annual season-opening festival, debuting in September 2017. Together with enhanced marketing efforts, Opera Philadelphia's market research responds to new audience behaviors and preferences, and supports the organization's efforts to bring opera to a variety of publics in unconventional places and in unexpected ways.
