During a recent conversation at The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, performance impresario and Center visiting scholar Kristy Edmunds was asked, “Why do you do what you do?” Edmunds cited four reasons, one of which is that her work provides her the opportunity to use her “whole self.” See what she means by that, as well as the rest of her answer, in this short video.
“Curating Performance Across Disciplines and Platforms” took place at the Center on May 28, 2014. Edmunds’ conversational partner was Limor Tomer, General Manager of Concerts and Lectures at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
