Brat Productions developed and produced the world premiere of Haunted Poe, an immersive, multi-sensory play capturing poet Edgar Allan Poe's peculiar genius. Staged 160 years after the writer's death, the show featured scenes inspired by Poe's stories, including "The Tell-Tale Heart," "The Raven," and "The Black Cat," among others. Created by artistic director Michael Alltop and Brat Productions founder Madi Distefano, the work transformed a 10,000-square-foot South Philadelphia warehouse into a labyrinth of rooms and sets.
