The Philadelphia Singers
The Philadelphia Singers is a professional choral ensemble with a commitment to preserving and strengthening America's rich choral heritage through performances, commissions, and music education. In 2009, the Philadelphia Singers collaborated with new music ensembles Relâche and Orchestra 2001 in a Center-funded program featuring the world premiere performance of Persephone by Philip Glass and the Philadelphia premiere of You Are (Variations) by Steve Reich.
