Sarah Gamble (b. 1974) creates works on paper that explore the notions of electro-magnetic fields and the ways in which they interact with human experiences and conditions. Gamble has exhibited her work widely, including exhibitions at Edward Thorp Gallery, New York; Jack the Pelican Presents, Brooklyn, NY; PS122 Gallery, New York; Pagaent Soloveev Gallery, Philadelphia; Fleisher/Ollman Gallery, Philadelphia; Fleisher Challenge Exhibition, at the Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial, Philadelphia; Pennsylvania Museum of Art, Harrisburg, PA; Lump Gallery/Projects, Raleigh, NC; and Vox Populi, Philadelphia. She attended the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art residency program in Omaha, NE, and the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT. Gamble received her B.F.A. from the Corcoran School of Art, Washington, D.C., and her M.F.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
