Kayla Romberger is a Philadelphia-based artist, designer, curator, and writer. In 2016, she co-founded Ulises, a bookshop and curatorial platform for artists’ books and independent publishing. Her work has been shown at Satellite Projects, Miami; the 4th Gwangju Design Biennale, Gwangju, S. Korea; BASE Beijing, China; MOCAD, Detroit; and the New York Art Book Fair at MoMA PS1, among others. Romberger’s work is held in the collections of The Montana Museum of Art and Culture, Missoula, MT; Common Press Archive, University of Pennsylvania; and Southern Graphics Council Archives, The University of Missouri, Columbia, MO. She holds an MFA from the University of Michigan, and currently serves as a lecturer at PennDesign.
