Ari Benjamin Meyers is a US-born, Berlin-based composer and visual artist whose work aims to explore the relationship between performer and audience and the performative, social, and ephemeral nature of music. He has collaborated with numerous artists and bands, including Tino Sehgal, Anri Sala, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Einstürzende Neubauten, and the Residents. Meyers trained at The Juilliard School, Yale University, and the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. In 2022, Meyers created and composed Rehearsing Philadelphia, a large-scale public art project that brought musical performances to public spaces throughout the city. In 2018, Meyers served as a Center LOI panelist in Performance.
