As the artistic consultant to the Roundabout Theatre Company, where she also produces the Underground Series, and as a Tony Award-winning producer, Robyn Goodman is widely recognized for discovering and supporting influential artists early in their careers. Goodman produced Avenue Q, which received the Tony Award for Best Musical of 2004, In the Heights, winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical of 2008, and the Tony Award-winning Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. As the co-founder and co-artistic director of the Second Stage Theatre in New York City for 13 years, Goodman gave new life to contemporary plays that deserved to be reconsidered. She was a theater panelist at the Center in 2012.
