Neta Pulvermacher is artistic director of the Ben Gurion University Dance Company in Beer Sheva, Israel, and professor of dance at Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. She has choreographed over 85 works for her New York-based Neta Dance Company, and for other companies and institutions around the world. She has collaborated extensively with musicians and composers such as John Zorn and Masada, Anthony Coleman, Yuval Gabay, and the English rock band XTC, and film director Mira Nair. Previously, Pulvermacher was associate professor of dance at the University of Florida’s School of Theater and Dance. Recently, she led residencies at Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD) and in Tasmania, master classes at SUNY Purchase, and in Beit Tzhaur in the Palestinian Territory. In 2018, she served as a Center panelist in Performance.
