Naomi Beckwith is a curator known for recognizing artists whose practices are social, participatory, and communal. She joined the curatorial staff at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago in May 2011. Prior to joining the staff, Beckwith was associate curator at the Studio Museum in Harlem, where she curated the exhibition 30 Seconds off an Inch, including artworks by 42 artists of color or those inspired by black culture from more than 10 countries. She was a Pew Fellowships panelist in 2012.
