Lisa Yancey is an organizational development consultant who specializes in development/fundraising planning, strategic organizational planning, and senior project management for nonprofit arts institutions. The scope of her experience includes long-term institutional planning, developing marketing strategies, strategic development, funder prospecting, overall development of fundraising strategies, and project management, among others. As a performance curator, Yancey created the Restoration Rocks! free concert series at Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation in Brooklyn, New York. More recently, she worked with the Apollo Theater to launch the Apollo Music Cafe and has served as head curator and host for the past five seasons. Further adding to her creative versatility, Yancey has a professional background in dance and choreography. She currently serves on the boards of directors of MAPP International Productions, Inc., Fractured Atlas, and the Sadie Nash Leadership Project. She served as a Center management panelist in 2013 and 2012, and a LOI panelist in 2013.
