Limor Tomer is the General Manager of Concerts & Lectures and a curator of performance at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Before her work at the Met, Tomer served as adjunct curator of performing arts at the Whitney Museum, and executive producer for music at WNYC Public Radio and Classical 105.9 WQXR in New York. She worked with Harvey Lichtenstein at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on a variety of projects, including the creation of BAMcafé—an informal, intimate 250-seat performance space. As a freelance curator, Tomer has created eclectic programming for Symphony Space, Lincoln Center, Neue Galerie, JVC Jazz Festival, Joe's Pub, and Exit Art Gallery, among other venues and presenters in New York. She was a Music panelist at the Center in 2007, and took part in "Curating Performance Across Disciplines and Platforms," a conversation with Center visiting scholar Kristy Edmunds in 2014.
