Leigh Ann Hahn plays a crucial role in Grand Performances' capacity to fund and present up to 70 performances and themed festivals each summer. Her deep interest and thorough research on international artists brought United States premieres by the Beijing Modern Dance Company and Mexico's ContraDanza to Grand Performances. Her equally passionate commitment to identifying and supporting emerging local artists contributed to Los Angeles' DaKAH Hip Hop Orchestra's rise to national visibility, and created the residency activities that brought choreographers Rosanna Gamson (L.A.) and Cecilia Appleton (Mexico City) together, leading to the creation of their bi-national work, "Aura." She sat on the Center's 2012 music panel.
