Kevin Ward is a former director of Santa Fe's Dayton Contemporary Dance Company. He is the recipient of several awards and grants, including three Ohio Arts Council Fellowships, the Kennedy Center for the Arts Masters of African American Choreography Medal, and the OhioDance Award for lifetime achievement. He served as a Center dance panelist from 2009–10.
