Jenny Gersten is concluding a three-year stint as Interim Artistic Director of the Williamstown Theatre Festival, where she also held the position of associate producer from 1996 to 2004, and was Artistic Director from 2010-2014. She is also the VP and Producer of Musical Theater at New York City Center. As an independent producer, her work includes the award-winning immersive Off-Broadway production of Sweeney Todd, a "live cinema" series of workshops written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola, and on Broadway she produced Just For Us (also HBO), and the current revival of Once Upon a Mattress. From 2015 through 2020, Gersten was a consulting producer for the Performing Arts Center at the World Trade Center. She previously served as Executive Director of Friends of the High Line, Associate Producer of The Public Theater, and got her start at The 52nd Street Project.
