An advocate and catalyst for building community capacity and understanding culture since 2003, Janeen Bryant is the former vice president of education at Levine Museum of the New South. A graduate of Davidson College with a B.A. in anthropology, she completed her Master of Science degree in Leadership and Management at Montreat College. After several years as a Teach for America teacher at Briarwood Academy in Charlotte she joined the Levine Museum staff in 2007. Creator of numerous dialogic modules, consultant and leader in engagement strategies, Bryant has led community-centered advocacy both nationally and internationally through educator professional development, diversity trainings and panel presentations. Bryant served as a Center Exhibitions & Public Interpretation panelist in 2014.
