Hanif Abdurraqib is a poet, essayist, and cultural critic from Columbus, Ohio. His poetry has been published in Muzzle, Vinyl, PEN American, and various other journals. His essays and music criticism have appeared in The FADER, Pitchfork, The New Yorker, and The New York Times. Abdurraqib’s latest book, A Little Devil In America, was released by Random House in 2021. Other publications include Go Ahead In The Rain: Notes To A Tribe Called Quest (2019, a New York Times bestseller), A Fortune For Your Disaster (2019), They Can't Kill Us Until They Kill Us (2017), Vintage Sadness (2017), and The Crown Ain't Worth Much (2016). Abdurraqib served as a Pew Fellowships panelist in 2021.
