Eugenie Tsai is the Brooklyn Museum's John and Barbara Vogelstein Curator of Contemporary Art. A curator of contemporary art since 2007 at an encyclopedic museum, Tsai oversees a program that is distinguished in our globalized age by its commitment to local artists and audiences. Among her initiatives is Raw/Cooked, a series of solo shows of under-the-radar Brooklyn artists. In 2005, Tsai's exhibition and catalogue on the work of Robert Smithson received the International Association of Art Critics' first-place award for best monographic exhibition. She served as an exhibitions panelist for the Center in 2013.
