Elizabeth (Elee) Wood, M.Ed., Ph.D., is a practitioner and scholar in the field of informal and non-formal learning in museums and community settings. She currently serves as associate professor of museum studies and in teacher education at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. There she teaches courses in museum education, museums and audiences, museum theater, and object-based learning. Her current research focuses on the role of objects in learning and human development, and the use of critical pedagogy in museum exhibitions and programming. She served as a Center heritage panelist in 2012.
