Bruce A. Lemon, Jr. is an actor, writer, director, and artistic director of Watts Village, a Los Angeles-based theater company and arts education organization. He has performed with theater companies across the country, including LA Opera, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Son of Semele Ensemble, Mutineer Theatre Company, The Vagrancy, and others. Lemon has received numerous awards, including a 2016 Princess Grace Award, StageSceneLA’s award for “Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role,” and Broadway WorldLA’s award for “Best Leading Actor in a Play (Local Production).” Lemon previously served as a stage manager and production assistant at The Juilliard School, and as a touring educator with the McCarter Theatre. He earned his MFA in acting from The New School for Drama and his BA in acting from Hampton University. In 2017, Lemon served as a panelist for Performance.
