Founded in 2005, Broad Street Ministry (BSM) seeks to create a more compassionate and just city and world, and embraces the individual needs of Philadelphia’s most vulnerable populations. Its commitment to “radical hospitality” includes feeding hundreds of guests each week and providing other life-stabilizing services that include health care, clothing, mail service, and arts programs. In 2018, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society donated to BSM 1,200 pounds of produce grown during its Center-funded Farm for the City project.
