Janet Pilla has danced on many stages in her native Philadelphia over the past 25 years. During her professional career, she has performed numerous reconstructions of the work of José Limón, Doris Humphrey, Anna Sokolow, and Mary Anthony and, with Center support, the reconstruction and performance of a 1963 Pauline Koner solo.
