To commission a new work for the company by Urban Bush Women choreographer Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, entitled The Five Spot, inspired by the 50's jazz club. It will be set to a compilation of period jazz, with collaboration from poet/writer Hattie Gossett and visual artist Treva Offutt. Project dates: Sept.1993-May 1994.
