Marie Bardet is a philosopher and associate researcher at the University of Paris 8 Saint-Denis. The intersection of both fields informs her writing and publishing in international journals and books, including Penser et mouvoir (2011). Bardet is a founding member of Soma&po (research laboratory Paris 8) and Ningun Derecho Reservado (Buenos Aires). A translator of philosophy and art, she holds a PhD in philosophy from Paris 8 and in social sciences from the University of Buenos Aires.
